Inspirations

Wonder what the Rivoli Bar or other locations in the book look like? (Hint, they’re one part real, one part writer imagination.) You can see some photos that inspired me as I wrote on these web sites:

• Ritz Hotel London: They really do use old fashioned keys in their doors! And doesn’t the Rivoli Bar look scrumptious?
• Air Studios London: There are plenty of recording studios in old churches in London, apparently, but I used many of the pictures from Air Studios as my springboard for imagining Kyra and David’s recording session.
• The Red Lion pub near the Crown Passage off Pall Mall in London is a real place. There aren’t any high-backed snugs, but it looks cozy none-the-less!
